Sramota u sudaru dveju „normalnosti“: slučaj kovida-19 na Tasmaniji

Rad je posvećen generalnom pitanju: kako je izgledao segment sociokulturne stvarnosti u prestonici Tasmanije u vremenskom rasponu od pojave virusa SARS-CoV-2 u Kini pa do karantinizacije australijskog stanovništva sredinom marta 2020. godine; konkretnije, šta se dešavalo u direktnim, svakodnevnim kontaktima među ljudima, u susretu ili sudaru koegzistirajućih inkongruentnih normi ponašanja – „starih“ (do tada uobičajenih) i „novih“ (krizom izmenjenih) obrazaca međuljudskog ophođenja? U ovom periodu zdravstvene i socijalne krize, koji je ovde označen kao liminalni,generisana je sramota. Ona se javila kao emocionalna reakcija na diskrepanciju mišljenja, osećanja i ponašanja osoba sa kojima je razgovarano i mišljenja, osećanja i ponašanja članova njihovog socijalnog okruženja, a koja je postala vidljiva tokom njihovih međusobnih interakcija i koja je za predmet imala drugu emociju – strah. Terenski rad je obavljen sredinom naznačene godine u Hobartu. Sproveden u formi polustrukturiranih intervjuasa nekolicinom emigranata sa prostora SFRJ. Kako je bio namenjen ispitivanju njihovog straha, a tek sekundarno sramote, u ovom radu se ograničavam na narativno tumačenje porekla i predmeta sramote, a s namerom: s jedne strane, da se ukaže na glavne faktore konstrukcije sramote i, s druge strane, da se razmotri šta je u vezi sa strahom pobuđivalo sramotu u naznačenom kontekstu. Uočeno je, pored ostalog, da sramota jeste kulturno generisana u datim interakcijama koje su se odvijale unutar sekundarnih odnosa i specifičnih konteksta okruženja i, još šire, unutar krize izazvane opštim širenjem virusa, a i da se kao objekat sramote pojavio strah kao neprikladna emocija, najpre u smislu nesrazmernosti intenziteta straha i njegovog objekta (tj. opasnosti kojom je pretio virus).
