Apstrakt

Рад нуди одређење популарне космологије и њених веза са митологијом, а савремене теорије представља као секуларни митски наратив погодан за антрополошке анализе. Текст је посвећен истицању фолклорних карактеристика савремене космологије и указује на значај популарних космолошких наратива као штива које у себи садржи културолошки, филозофски, па и религијски релевантне елементе. Посебна пажња је посвећена космогонијским митовима који описују стање универзума пре успостављања времена, простора и материје. Повучена је паралела између савремене космологије и конвенционалних космогонијских митова. Напослетку, рад нуди сажето одређење популарне космологије и подсећа на најважније ауторе и популаризаторе савремених теорија. Текст нуди преглед основних концепата уз помоћ којих је могуће касније разумевање дубље динамике односа наратива савремене популарне науке и конвенционалних фолклорних форми.
