O koncepcijama „akademske zajednice“ i „akademske kulture“ u uslovima savremenih transformacija institucije univerziteta

Koncept „akademske kulture“ predstavlja nezasluženo zanemaren predmet istraživanja u antropologiji i drugim društvenim naukama. Iako mu je u sociologiji povremeno u toku XX veka pridavana teorijska pažnja, pojam akademske kulture ostaje u svom opšteprihvaćenom značenju nešto samopodrazumevajuće. Poimana obično kao statičan i visokoformalizovan skup uverenja i ponašanja, akademska kultura se retko direktno razmatra kao dinamičan proces koji je podložan uticajima vanakademskog ili „spoljnog sveta“. U radu se koncepcija „akademske kulture“ razmatra kao promenljiva i nekoherentna kategorija, a procesi identifikacije članova „akademske zajednice“ sa tako pretpostavljenom „kulturom“ kao fluidni i višedimenzionalni. Najveći akcenat se u radu stavlja na onu vrstu uticaja koje na funkcionisanje univerziteta i njihovu „kulturu“ imaju savremene reforme univerziteta i novi upravljački sistemi koji se pritom u njima razvijaju. Takva vrsta promena direktno se odnosi na promenu eksternog i internog odnosa prema akademskom radu pa tako i prema „akademskoj zajednici“, a neke od promena koje su uočene u različitim akademskim kontekstima smatramo relevantnim i za šire razumevanje identitetskih promena kroz koje prolaze članovi akademskih zajednica danas.
