Terminologie de la parenté comme une catégorie anthropologique analytique (toujours) importante

Cet article explique la notion de la terminologie de la parenté en tant que catégorie analytique dans l’anthropologie et rend compte de son importance. Une attention particulière est consacrée à des différences d’approche et de méthode appliquées en anthropologie d’un côté, et en philologie comparative et en linguistique historique de l’autre, lorsqu’il s’agit de ce genre de recherche. À part l’analyse en rapport avec la typologie du système de terminologie de la parenté, cet article rend compte des connaissances actuelles se rapportant à deux vieilles questions: 1. Celle qui concerne le rapport entre la terminologie de la parenté et les éléments extralinguistiques (les principes de l’organisation sociale et du comportement parental), 2. Celle qui concerne les changements historiques et les transformations des systèmes terminologiques de la parenté.
