Radio „sur un nuage“ : nouvelles approches dans la création de la radio internet

Résumé

Le développement technologique, et par conséquent la révolution technologique dans sa durée, ont initié des changements de l’environnement médiatique et de ses caractéristiques, puis de nos habitudes en matière de consommation et de réception des contenus – depuis la transmission et le placement des informations, en passant par la lecture des informations, le visionnage du programme télévisé, jusqu’à l’écoute de la musique. Ce travail tentera d’offrir un aperçu global des changements apportés par la numérisation, en se concentrant particulièrement sur la radio et son déménagement « de l’air » sur « la toile ». En explorant les phénomènes liés à la sortie de la radio des cadres analogues, à l’instar du « podcast », « cloud » et du « streaming » qui forment une infrastructure numérique de la radio internet, le travail met l’accent sur le rôle changé du public qui de « déstinataire passif », devient un réseau de « créateurs-consommateurs » actifs (prosumers) c’est-à-dire de créateurs-utilisateurs (produsers). Dans le réseau des rapports sociaux et des pratiques consommatrices, se distinguent les « nouveaux amateurs », amalgames du public et des fans/créateurs qui aujourd’hui sont capables de « créer eux-mêmes » (DIY) un programme radio avec les outils évoqués. Ils brouillent les frontières de la répartition « traditionnelle » du travail entre le « créateur » et le « consommateur » de la radio, puis les rapports entre les professionnels – les « stars de la radio » établies d’une part et les débutants de l’autre, échappant aux cadres d’une production contrôlée et encourageant le processus actif de la création de la culture d’en bas. Ce travail offrira non seulement une analyse des phénomènes mentionnés, mais il discutera aussi si, du fait de cette orientation, la radio s’est transformée et si par la touche « PLAY » sur l’écran elle a auguré qu’elle pouvait (re) commencer.
