Konstrukcija neoliberalnog selfa u beogradskoj psihoterapeutskoj praksi

Procesi neoliberalizacije i evrointegracije u Srbiji se odvijaju već neko vreme i pored promena koje su ostavile na pojedine elemente socijalne strukture kao što su porodica, ekonomija, politika i druge, njihovi uticaji su vidljivi i u načinima na koji stanovnici poimaju sebe i svoj položaj u takvom okruženju. Usled smanjene socijalne zaštite, povlačenja države iz javne sfere i rastuće finansijske i radne nesigurnosti, pojedinci su primorani da sami preuzmu odgovornost za svoje živote i rade na sebi u cilju ličnog usavršavanja i pronalaženja novih strategija opstanka. Kroz intervjue sa psihoterapeutima i ljudima koji su koristili usluge privatne psihoterapije, ovaj rad razmatra odnos između privatne psihoterapeutske prakse u Beogradu kao tehnike rada na sebi i konstrukcije sopstva kod korisnika njenih usluga, a potom je dovodi u vezu sa širim socio-ekonomskim kontekstom u kom ispitanici žive i rade. Dolazi se do zaključka da privatna psihoterapeutska praksa podražava potenciranje nezavisnosti, autonomije i odgovornosti za svoj život i životne odluke kod svojih klijenata, što su tipične karakteristike preduzetničkog selfa koji je specifičan za razdoblje postsocijalističke neoliberalizacije.
