Personnalité pandémique et culture numérique: des célébrités politiques sur les réseaux sociaux

Dans cet article est discuté la réunion particulière des cultures politique, numérique et celle des célébrités. Dans ces dernières décennies, de plus en plus de personnalités du monde du divertissement connues voire célèbres entrent dans le monde de la politique institutionnelle et s’efforcent d’y féconder leur popularité. Grâce aux médias, ils y apportent en plus leur capital de célébrité, c’est-à-dire leurs visibilité et identification aisée accumulées (Driesens 2013). Au début, dans le perfectionnement de cette visibilité, les politiciens célébrités s’appuient sur les médias de masse qui mettent leur personne et leur vie privée au centre de l’attention du public. Mais avec la numérisation des médias, change le paysage politique-populaire (Marshall 2020), ce pourquoi ils ont aujourd’hui à leur disposition de nouvelles plateformes pour mener des politiques personnalisées, c’est-à-dire pour imposer leurs propres particularités à la place du programme des partis. Dans ce travail l’attention s’est portée vers Donald Trump, l’ancien président américain, Volodymyr Zelensky, le président ukrainien et Miroslav Škoro, candidat aux élections présidentielles, parlementaires et locales en Croatie. Bien que il y ait des différences de chez ces trois politiciens quant aux capitaux initiaux de célébrité avant leur entrée en politique, dans ces nouvelles circonstances de la médiatisation de la politique leur utilisation des réseaux sociaux révèle bien sur quels fondements se construit la personnalité politique/pandémique.
