Résumé

Ce travail explore les contributions théoriques, méthodologiques et empiriques de l’anthropologie de la diplomatie dans l’étude des relations internationales, mettant en relief son importance dans le contexte des défis globaux contemporains. L’anthropologie de la diplomatie accentue l’interdisciplinarité, l’approche ethnographique et le réexamen critique des pratiques diplomatiques, analysant les concepts comme celui du discours diplomatique, de la diplomatie quotidienne et des pratiques diplomatiques établies. Le travail éclaire particulièrement l’application des méthodes anthropologiques dans la diplomatie sanitaire globale, rendant compte du lien entre la santé, la politique extérieure et la sûreté nationale. Les auteurs explorent comment les résultats anthropologiques peuvent contribuer à la compréhension des tensions internationales, des processus négociateurs et des interactions interculturelles, puis à la création des relations globales plus justes et plus pacifiques. Dans le travail sont analysés les principaux débats parmi les chercheurs dans ce domaine et sont proposées les orientations des recherches futures qui pourraient faire avancer l’application des connaissances anthropologiques dans la diplomatie.
