Sveprisustvo savremenih informacionih tehnologija čini da se mnoga pitanja i procesi iza ekrana i izvan kodova kompjuterskog jezika u stvari prenebregnu. Projekat „Kulturna participacija i kulturno nasleđe“ otpočet je bez aspiracija ka digitalnom – s ciljem da se ispitaju koreni malog interesovanja mladih da učestvuju u kulturnom životu sredina u kojima žive, te utvrde mogućnosti za promenu takvog trenda. Međutim, tokom rada, dokumentacija koju su i ispitanici isticali i koju smo tražili u ustanovama kulture fokus su pomerili ka izradi elektronske baze podataka „Kultura i druge dečje igre“. Baze podataka predstavljaju nove forme kulture – modele strukturisanja iskustava i sveta u kompjuterizovanom društvu, nove načine čitanja rezultata etnografskog rada. Njihova izrada donosi niz izazova a njihova opažanja jesu okosnica rada koji sledi.
