Ужаснутост и опчињеност вечитим телом: мумија у раној хорор књижевности

Маштања о могућности неописиво дугог или бесконачног физичког постојања разматрају се обликована као културне представе о мумији, као вечитом физичком телу, у енглеској књижевности деветнаестог и раног двадесетог века. На основу три приче и једног романа, показује се како се врши уобличавање културних представа о страној и далекој култури одражавањем представа о сопственој култури.
